Summary of First Crack service use, data, and liability

Service
Section titled “Service”First Crack provides coffee roasting profile management, live roast monitoring, and quality/production analytics, including desktop app, web account, and APIs.
Account
Section titled “Account”- Age 16+
- Accurate signup info; no account sharing
- Violation may suspend or terminate the account
Billing summary
Section titled “Billing summary”- Free: 20 batches/month
- Paid: monthly or yearly (USD base, Polar)
- Cancel: anytime; access through current period end
- Refunds: Refund policy — no mid-period proration
- User data (profiles, batch notes, etc.) remains yours.
- You grant First Crack a license to store, process, and display data as needed to run the service.
- Anonymous/aggregated data may improve the product.
Prohibited
Section titled “Prohibited”- Illegal use
- Reverse engineering the desktop app
- Malware, disruption, unauthorized scraping
Liability
Section titled “Liability”- Service is provided “as is.”
- Roast decisions and quality are your responsibility.
- Liability for analytics downtime and indirect damages is limited as allowed by law.
On termination
Section titled “On termination”- Access ends
- Export opportunity within 30 days, then deletion
Governing law
Section titled “Governing law”Laws of the Republic of Korea; courts in Seoul.
